From Valley Pride Farm in our neighbor city of Mount Vernon, we half these beauties, flash fry them to perfection, toss them in our house rosemary salt, and drizzle them with our famous maple balsamic reduction. 1) L👀K what special is back!!! Yes yes, it’s the vegan cauliflower buffalo “wings” with our house made vegan Ranch!! October is Oak’s anniversary month, and we will be featuring tasty and much loved specials of years passed, beginning with these tasty morsels!
2) it’s Wednesday, so time for @chessclub.club !! If you know how to play chess and fancy a game or three or ten, come to Oak between 6 and 10pm to play Chess! Boards are provided, all ages/levels welcome, free to play!

I(Vegan) Taco Tuesdays are back at Oak!! Come on through between 4pm and 11pm for some delicious vegan tacos featuring a House-made crispy taco shell, “Before the Butcher” vegan ground beef, lettuce, tomato. Served with house-made seasoned vegan sour cream and house made green salsa. 🤤 🌮 😋

Oak’s staff summer vacation begins tomorrow (Saturday, July 1st), so come through and get your Oak fix tonight!! We will be closed from Saturday, July 1st through Monday, July 10th, open again for regular hours on Tuesday, July 11th!

Little Bingo PSA here! We have been doing Bingo every third Wednesday, but we’re moving it out a week — it was too much to smash into one week with Trivia on Monday and Valentine’s Dinner last night 😅….but Boots will be at the Bingo helm next Wednesday, the 22nd to facilitate all the fun!!

We are finally going to achieve a goal we have been working towards since late 2021 - being open for business 7 days a week!!! This is the last Sunday we will be closed - next weekend (starting the 22nd) we will be open for Sunday dinner service, open at 4pm!! Wahooo!!

Oak’s Thanksgiving tradition is back on the menu for November— “The Globe” special, paying homage to The Globe, which was a well-loved vegan institution in its day (ifykyk). “The Globe” consists of an open-face sandwich, toasted sourdough bread with marinated and grilled tofu on top, smothered with The Globe (Restaurant) inspired mushroom gravy, with a side of mashed potatoes with more of that decadent gravy, and a side of cranberry sauce. Totally vegan and totally delicious!! 😋
