Working with a skeleton crew since reopening has come with its many challenges - one is serious lack of coverage when our amazing staff wants to take a vacation. As a resolution, Oak is going to close for a week so the whole Oak fam can get in a proper summer vacation!! Next week, we will be closed for service (Sunday, August 21st - Monday, August 29th), and we shall reopen again on Tuesday, August 30th for regular hours.

In the meantime, tonight and tomorrow night are your last chance to whoop it up at Oak before summer vacay starts!! Come on by!

@holymtnbrewing did a great thing! “The Devil Makes Five” IPA is brewed with a spectacular assortment of Washington-grown hops, with aromas of marmalade, peach, and guava with a dry finish. A very limited release, we feel very lucky to have been one of the few places to purchase this very special beer. (Thank you, Holy Mountain!) Holy Mountain is donating all proceeds for this production to Reproductive Rights!!! Thank you for doing this, Holy Mountain!!! Y’all are amazing.

We have been featuring 3 delicious and insanely low priced cocktails as our promotional way of welcoming back the Happy Hour times! A couple months ago, Oak started offering some fun non-alcoholic house-made beverage options! The Mango-Mint Shrub (pictured here) has been an absolute hit! ….if you want to make it an adult beverage, ask your server or bartender to add a shot to any of the house made n/a beverages! Tequila, rum, and vodka are all lovely additions to the Mango Mint Shrub. 🥳

This is the most beautiful thing — Kimball Elementary has displayed their collaborative artwork in celebration of Black History up and down Beacon Avenue… and we are sooo excited and honored to have the kindergarten class work up in our front window. 🥰🥰🥰 this picture doesn’t even begin to do it justice… you just have to come see for yourself!!

The art walk is happening now— until 6:30!! If you don’t have a chance this evening, these amazing displays will be up until Tuesday, so make sure you take a walk and check out all the classes’ work displayed in the windows of businesses all across Beacon Ave. ❤️💕❤️
