We want to make tasty beverages more accessible to our beloved patrons for the duration of takeout only world! Hi friends! Here’s a little public service announcement from Jeff, the owner of Oak. For now, we are staying open for service - to provide much needed jobs to those who continue to work shifts here, to continue raising funds to disperse to our furloughed staff, and, of course, to continue to be here to serve and provide for our community as best we can. Oak is now offering what is arguably one of the most popular comfort combos - grilled cheese and tomato soup!! House-made hearty tomato bisque, boasting all the flavors we love - garlic, basil, oregano, and thyme. The creaminess comes from coconut cream, which deems this soup vegan as well! Grilled cheese sandwich is composed of Seattle Sourdough Co.’s Waterfront sourdough bread, with Tillamook’s aged white cheddar, grilled to golden-brown perfection. For a vegan version, we can sub in vegan Chao cheese. Call or order online!

These are also the coffee beans we use to create our espresso rub for the Beacon Breakfast Burger. If you ever need a hangover cure breakfast, by the way, the Beacon Breakfast burger is a very good candidate. Just sayin’! 😁

-Breakfast Hand Pie- Eggs, spinach, Swiss cheese, enveloped in buttery pie crust

Oh hi friends! It’s Oak again. I know you’ve heard a lot from me lately, but this is truly exciting news... starting tomorrow, Wednesday March 18th, Oak is opening at NOON for LUNCH service! Now you can order your favorite burger or salad or fried chicken sandwich for lunchtime! And the next couple of days calls for sunshine, which means you should grab some food and get some fresh air and soak up some rays at Jefferson park... there is enough space there to maintain safe social distancing picnic-style. Sunshine is good for the soul. So is Oak’s delicious food. 😜 Another big thank-you to all the folks in our community that have ordered food from Oak this evening. We love you all!

Y’all - here is a beautiful example of community coming together to support each other in these crazy times. Counterbalance, despite their own need for them, have graciously provided Oak with several of their growlers, so we may sell our beer and create revenue. We have, in return, purchased two cases of counterbalance IPA which are available to purchase via to-go ordering. As of this evening, all of our draft beers, bottled or draft wines, and canned beers are available to purchase alongside your takeout meals! Thank you, Counterbalance!! It’s folks like you that allow community to thrive in the face of tragedy! ❤️❤️❤️

Hey neighbors! We are trying a new thing! Katy here has volunteered to be Oak’s delivery driver for the next while. If you would like food delivered to you, please check the map to make sure you are within our geographic limitations. There is a $3 charge for delivery service on top of the 20% automatic gratuity. For those who do not know, Oak is pooling all gratuities collected and will be dispersing them to all Oak’s furloughed staff to help them make it through these trying times! If your pocketbook allows for it, we encourage leaving additional tips (only if it is truly affordable for you!). Thank you to all who placed orders with us yesterday and were very generous!
