“The Globe” is back!!
It is an Oak tradition to run this special every November through the Thanksgiving holiday. A dish fondly named after The Globe vegan restaurant, an institution on Capitol Hill in Seattle that was much loved and is now very missed by the community. Sadly, they closed about a decade ago. The Oak’s mushroom gravy recipe is directly inspired by The Globe and is our way of paying homage and keeping the memory alive!
Our dish features marinated and grilled tofu alongside a scoop homemade mashed potatoes with the famous mushroom gravy, and a side of cranberry sauce!
This special will be running through November, can’t wait to see all the lovely regulars who get as excited about this dish as we do! 🧡🍂
Greetings, citizens! Election Day is upon us! We will be showing Election Results with 📺🔊 sound on in “The Den”, Oak’s back dining space, which is all-ages for our under-21 voters who would like to come watch.
