Check out what the Oak team was up to this week… Jeff (Oak’s owner) set up a CPR class for the staff, and now we are pleased to say that at least one of us on staff at all times is adult/child/infant CPR certified!! As much as we really don’t want anyone to choke or go into cardiac arrest at Oak, we are super excited to have the skills to respond to such an incident! ⛑️
And thanks to Brent from Medic 1 for teaching us this invaluable skill!

Chess Club is back in session this evening, after Oak’s little staff-wide appreciation vacation.

The flavor rotates; right now we are serving a very refreshing and satisfying Blueberry Lime Shrub. And if you were hoping for a more adult beverage, add a shot of vodka or gin to spice things up!

Big news!! Oak (FINALLY!) has vegan vanilla ice cream!! It has been requested for years, and we have agreed that it would make a lovely addition to our vegan bourbon apple crumble (pictured here next to the vanilla vegan ice creams), or even the vegan chocolate cupcakes or the vegan chocolate chip cookies! However, the hunt for bulk amounts of vegan ice cream within Oak price range allowances has been the real challenge. We finally found a match, and we are SO very excited to share this news with many of our lovely Oak regulars who have waited ever so patiently for us to find it! 🍨 😋
We will be taking the day off on Thursday for the Fourth of July. See you on Friday at 4pm when we open! 🎆
