Everyone, meet Teddy! Teddy and his parents sat right next to Oak’s front door and Teddy did a great job looking fabulous and greeting everyone who stopped by!

Here at Oak, we welcome pups of all shapes and sizes to join their families at our outdoor seating! We LOVE our furry friends that come for dinner. Soooo, a staff member had a brilliant idea to do an “Oak Dog of the Week” bit in celebration of this love.

Looking for some lighter fare in the Seattle heat?! How about Oak’s new special, the BAAT sandwich?! Smoked bacon OR Oak’s house vegan maple tofu “bacon”, with sliced avocado, arugula, and a spread of our special garlic-chipotle aioli, served with tossed greens (option to upgrade to fries or soup as a side 😊). Sometimes the most satisfying things are in simplicity! 🤌

This thing of beauty is one of Oak’s new special happy hour cocktails!! The Oak BlackBerry Smash - fresh blackberries, basil, Old Crow bourbon, lemon, and simple syrup. Perfect summer drink!

Happy Hour is from 4pm to 6pm and again from 10pm to midnight. Party on!! 🥳🥳🥳

Oak is getting back into the swing of late night summer good times! Oak’s bar is open until 1am on Friday and Saturday, with food being served until midnight!

Oak was finally able to bring back Happy Hour at the beginning of May for the first time since before the 2020 shut down. We have been featuring 3 delicious and insanely low priced cocktails as our promotional way of welcoming back the Happy Hour times! Buuuuuuuuut… the promotion is ending soon, and while we will still have great happy hour prices and a dollar off draft beers and house spirits, we will be revamping the happy hour menu and these 3 cocktail specials will be making an exit. Make sure to swing through from 4-6 or 10-midnight for the next week to enjoy these fancy $8 libations! And stay tuned for our exciting new Happy Hour announcements to come!🤗

A couple months ago, Oak started offering some fun non-alcoholic house-made beverage options! The Mango-Mint Shrub (pictured here) has been an absolute hit! ….if you want to make it an adult beverage, ask your server or bartender to add a shot to any of the house made n/a beverages! Tequila, rum, and vodka are all lovely additions to the Mango Mint Shrub. 🥳

This is the most beautiful thing — Kimball Elementary has displayed their collaborative artwork in celebration of Black History up and down Beacon Avenue… and we are sooo excited and honored to have the kindergarten class work up in our front window. 🥰🥰🥰 this picture doesn’t even begin to do it justice… you just have to come see for yourself!!

The art walk is happening now— until 6:30!! If you don’t have a chance this evening, these amazing displays will be up until Tuesday, so make sure you take a walk and check out all the classes’ work displayed in the windows of businesses all across Beacon Ave. ❤️💕❤️

In Seattle, it’s always soup season! 😜 our current house soup is Classic Split Pea (vegan!), garnished with crispy seasoned onions 🥣

The Poblano Burger is back for a limited time!! Vegan version— Fieldroast patty, grilled poblano pepper, a slice of vegan mozzarella cheese, Oak’s house garlic-chipotle aioli, served with tomato/onion/arugula and your choice of fries or tossed greens. Beef version subs in 1/3 lb Royal Ranch natural beef patty and pepperjack cheese. 🍔🍔🍔

Please note!! The Caesar Wrap that was on special before the Poblano burger is going to stay on the menu at least until the end of Summer!! 🤗

The walls are off the shelters so you can now enjoy the amaaaaazing late spring/pre-summer temperate fresh air! Don’t worry, heaters are all still there in case it gets nippy when the sun goes down! ☺️

Since the birth of Oak, we are constantly seeking out new vegan product and trying to find ways to put them on our menu for you to try! We have some really great vegan products from both Fieldroast and Rebellyous foods on our menu - now we welcome the newest plant-based “meat” product, TiNDLE! We are now featuring their crispy plant-based patty on a re-vamp of our vegan Phishwitch sandwich with pepperoncini coleslaw, Oak’s vegan caper-dill tartar, a spread of vegenaise, and arugula. Swing by Oak and give this tasty morsel a try!!

Guess what’s FINALLY back on the menu?!?! Heck yeah, it’s the Peanut Butter & Chocolate “Custard”!! This decadent treat is all the deliciousness (maybe more!!!) of a classic custard or pudding, but without the eggs/gluten/dairy! You don’t have to be gluten-free or vegan to appreciate how ridiculously yummy this is though! 😋😋😋
