Hey neighbors! Here’s a little update to Oak’s temporary schedule! 

We have been pretty dang slow on Wednesdays the past couple of months, which is why we opted to be closed completely on Wednesdays for a bit. We are going to try something… just to see if there is a hump day demand out there for Oak’s delicious food. We are going to be open for takeout only on Wednesday night! No front of house staff will be present, so folks will need to go to oak-seattle.com to place their orders, and upon arrival, one of our lovely cooks will bring it to you outside. If this experiment is successful, we will add another takeout only day (Sunday!), and slowly start to work our way back up to being open 7 days a week, for both dine-in and take-out! Orders can be made in advance at oak-seattle.com 🧡🧡🧡

Howdy neighbors! While we are back… we have had to adjust our hours of operation temporarily. With business being back down to snail pace, it is only viable to be open four days a week at this time. Based on business trends, we have chosen the following days to be open -

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we will be open from 5pm-10pm.

Wednesday, Sunday, and Monday we shall be closed for now.

When we open back up for seven days a week completely depends on you, the Oak-loving folk of Seattle! When it is revealed that the demand is there and the level of business justifies it, we will rise to the occasion. And we really look forward to it!!

Howdy neighbors- here’s an update. The management team spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out how to make it through this new fierce wave of sickness. In the past, furloughed employees and small businesses were offered aid from the government. This time around, there is no help. Therefore we must find a sustainable way to move forward, as closing down until it’s over is not an option. 

Here is our plan of attack - we shall open again on Tuesday, after our staff has all had a chance to test/quarantine. We are going to be open four days a week (to be announced) for limited hours with limited staff. Our staff will continue to be diligent in their off-work covid precautions, and while at work, we have medical-grade air purifiers running in every room, and all wear masks for the duration of our time at work. We want those who dine with us to know that we are doing all within our power to give you a safe and comfortable place to be. We realize much of the community is not comfortable dining out during this time, so we are vamping up our take-out program, and will be offering some very neat specials for take-out (stay tuned)!

Thank you to all who have continuously supported us during this nightmare pandemic! Because of you we continue to thrive in this community, and we are so grateful. 

Hey all, we apologize for the last minute alert, but we will be closed this evening. Several staff members are under the weather, therefore we must do the right thing… we shall be closed until all staff can be tested and we are confident that those who serve our community be here at Oak have a clean bill of health. We were excited to finally be open again… but what can ya do?! Please continue to check in and we’ll keep you updated on when we can open again.

IT IS FINALLY HAPPENING! We are opening this evening just in time for New Year’s Eve! We are stocked up in the champagne department and ready to ring in the New Year with any neighbors that might be want to join us. Complimentary champagne will be offered to those who visit us from 10pm on! Stuck on Beacon because the roads are icy-dicey?! Take a snowy stroll to Oak, we’re so excited to be open again!

The weather is definitely not helping the continuation of the remodel and interior fixes… folks are having a hard time getting there! Hang tight everyone, We are now aiming to be open Thursday or Friday. Keep checking back with us for updates!

Hello friends! We were hoping to get back to business tomorrow, but there are some factors that are going to push that goal out just a tad.

Oak’s kitchen has been getting a remodel during the holiday break, but construction is not quite done, we need another day or maybe two to put the finishing touches on it. On top of that, our heating system is down and has not been fixed yet (seriously bad timing for that one to happen 😑🥶).

Keep checking back with us for updates, we’re shooting to reopen Wednesday, but it could be Thursday or Friday.

Oak just had the pleasure of hosting the month’s first big Holiday party in The Den this past weekend!

The Den is such a cozy space to have a private party! We have DJ kits and plug-ins for a curated music experience, a TV, and moody lights to tie it all together. Holiday disco ball? CHECK! 🎄🕺🏻✨

Friday nights at Oak have really started to feel like the good ole days (you know, previous to March 2020) now that the bar is open. It’s been so lovely to see y’all populating the barstools once more!! 😻🥳
