Oak will be closed tomorrow, Friday June 12th, in solidarity with the state-wide strike called for by Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County. A group of Oak employees will be marching, adhering to all social distancing guidelines. March begins at 1pm at Judkins Park and ends at Jefferson Park. Oak stands with the fight for social justice.
Thank you to all of the neighbors that visited Oak over the weekend — Oak raised a total of $1,500 for Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County @blcklivesmatter and Campaign Zero @campaignzero. Those donations were made this afternoon. Black Lives Matter called for a state wide strike that Oak will be participating in this Friday, June 12th. We are proud to make this modest sacrifice of revenue to stand with those speaking out against injustice.
Hello neighbors! Our beloved kitchen manager, Lexi, has a birthday this Monday, June 1st. In appreciation of how hard she has been working to make our takeout service work and keep the wheels on Oak, We decided to honor the special day by giving her and the entire staff that day to rest. We will be here for you all weekend, 9am to 9pm and will be back to our regular schedule on Tuesday. Thank you for the continued support Beacon Hill! We love you!

We want to make tasty beverages more accessible to our beloved patrons for the duration of takeout only world! Oak is now offering what is arguably one of the most popular comfort combos - grilled cheese and tomato soup!! House-made hearty tomato bisque, boasting all the flavors we love - garlic, basil, oregano, and thyme. The creaminess comes from coconut cream, which deems this soup vegan as well! Grilled cheese sandwich is composed of Seattle Sourdough Co.’s Waterfront sourdough bread, with Tillamook’s aged white cheddar, grilled to golden-brown perfection.
