Oak’s beer selection is carefully curated by the owner, Jeff, along with employees of Oak who enjoy a good beer! Today we had a visit from representatives from Lowercase brewing, one of Seattle’s amazing local breweries. Jeff and one of our awesome bartenders, Sunnie, are tasting some potential options for some new beer options! Stay tuned for which one is chosen. Also, give Lowercase a visit sometime - they are located right off airport way in Georgetown, just a hop and skip from Oak. If you discover an awesome beer there, be sure to share it with us here at Oak so we can put it in the running for a potential draft beer in the future. Cheers for beers! 🍺🍻🍺🍻

The soft opening of Oak’s new room, “The Den”, was a success! If you didn’t get a chance to stop in last night, don’t worry - we will be opening The Den at 7pm once again on Friday! 🍻

Join us Friday, May 10th (tomorrow!!), for the soft opening of Oak’s new addition, “The Den”! Come enjoy the Oak atmosphere in a new, unique, ambient, and well-curated space that can accommodate up to thirty people. You must be 21+ to enter The Den. To find The Den, wander to the back of the bar, and look through the doorway to your left. If you spot the polar bear on the wall, you have made it! The Den will open at 7pm (the rest of the restaurants opens at 4pm). See you Friday night!

Oak is embracing the future in the sense that we now offer eGift cards! We have been rollin’ old school with paper gift certificates for all these years, but alas, it is 2019 and the trees are not getting more plentiful! The eGift cards are easy to purchase, easy to use, and NOT easy to lose! To purchase one, simply click on the “Gift Cards” link on our website homepage (https://oak-seattle.com/gift-cards), and provide the requested information. You can send the gift card directly to the recipients email address. A number is provided, and all you have to do is present this number to your server when you are ready to settle up, and they can redeem the gift for you. Nothing beats the gift of a delicious meal, awesome cocktails, and great service! 

Oak’s heartiest and popular dinner salad, The Kale Chicken Caesar, has many faces. Enjoy it with our delicious fried chicken, have it completely vegan with our house made faux-chicken tenders, or ask for it vegetarian style with shaved Parmesan atop the faux-chicken as is pictured here! Equally decadent in all forms!                                                  

Kelly, one of Oak’s owners, is a very talented artist. Amongst many of her original contributions to Oak’s unique and beautiful aesthetic are these two beautiful murals, paying tribute to all the natural beauty that surrounds the city of Seattle in our mountains and forests. Have a meal in our dining room and enjoy the scenery!   

This past weekend was quite eventful for Oak - we had the amazing pleasure of celebrating not one, but two birthdays of two very talented Beacon Hill chefs!! Bar Del Corso’s Mako and Oak’s Olivia both celebrated their birthdays at Oak and we all had SO MUCH FUN! Happy birthday to two of the most lovely people in the neighborhood! We love you! 

The pot still procedure for distilling liquor dates back to the end of the 15th century. Homage is paid to this timeless craft with Willett Pot Still Reserve.
